From an early age, Tina Ballas showed an interest in music and dance. She has played piano and accordion since her childhood days and was a member of several dance groups. She was also active in various ballet and choral groups. At present, she is performing as lead singer of the “Lagan” project as well as projects in the fields of jazz, rock, country, musicals and classic.
Born in Wetzlar in 1962, he discovered his love for keyboard instruments and his talent on the guitar at an early age. In addition, to working with various bands, he completed his skills on the organ and has been active as an organist in Wetzlar and Solms since 1984. He adds his broad musical spectrum to the “Lagana" project, playing bass, piano, mandolin, zither, harmonica. He also works as a freelance producer in the field of pop and rock.
Gerry Barth - Guitars, Bass, Backing Vocals
Born in Huettenberg near Wetzlar in 1953, Gerhard Barth grew up in a highly musical family and learned trumpet, organ, zither and guitar early. At of the age 16, he began playing in various bands and worked as a session musician. At the beginning of the 80s, he entered the professional scene with the band "Face2Face". A 2nd place in the German Phono Academy competition, a record deal with Ariola, various television shows, video clips, and tours in Europe, followed. Gerhard Barth has also worked as a technician and live mixer on tours with Urlah Heep, Sister Sledge, Johnny Winter, Jack Bruce, Curtis Mayfield, and many more.
Thomas Wandt - Bagpipes, Whistles, Guitar, Backing Vocals
Thomas Wandt, born 1973 in Hildesheim, started his musical career on the trombone, but today his heart belongs to the Great Highland Bagpipe and the music of Scotland and Ireland. He also plays guitar, whistles and composes, he works as project manager with Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. He learned to play the pipes with Pipe Major Eoin Allister MacKinnon Ashford at Alba Pipe Band Hildesheim and is Pipe Major of the Clan Pipers Frankfurt.
